Biography

Taydatay is rapper from Hunter’s Point district of San Francisco. Getting his start in the mid 90′s with Cold World Hustlers, Taydatay would go onto become the front man of one of the most successful Bay Area rap groups ever 11/5.

Along with rap partners Hennessy and Maine-O, Taydatay took the game by storm with the classic albums Fiendin’ 4 Tha Funk and A-1 Yola which sold a staggering 250,000 units combined. Taydatay released his classic solo album Anticipaytion in 1998 and in 2003 followed it up with his second solo Out of Sight, On The Grind.

Countless compilation appearances and a national tour would solidify Taydatay’s standing as a champion of the underground as well as his stellar appearance on the platinum selling West Coast Bad Boyz II from No Limit mogul Master P. Having recorded with everyone from E-40 to Spice 1, from C-Bo to Kid Frost, Taydatay has done it all.
